Keeping Safe with COVID-19

Safety and Covid-19 - AssetProjects

Keeping business as usual during the COVID-19 pandemic has been possible with our exceptional safety protocols.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on how we all interact with each other. At AssetProjects, our commitment to safety has never been greater. Specialising in Live Site Refurbishments, we have extensive experience in keeping all those around us safe. In addition to our exceptional safety protocols, we have instigated the additional COVID-SAFE practices:

  • Review of all current State and Government Health / Safety Regulator Sites

  • Translation of guidance into requirements, and subsequent deployment into Safety Action Plan. Client specific requirements included in these plans

  • Review of all Work Practices with clients, with mutually agreed Risk Assessment and Mitigation plans

  • Update of all workplace posters, online training and workplace ‘toolbox’ talks for all team members, updated as any changes in guidance or regulations change

  • Communication to all team members and partners through SMS and email in addition to workplace talks, and dedicated support personnel for all team members on site

  • Formulated Response Plan for any suspected cases, reporting process and reduction of transmission

  • Mental Health support for all as part of Health and Safety plans

  • To reduce transmission, AssetProjects has implemented the following:

      • Awareness of health checks for all personnel to identify early signs of infection

      • If unwell, stay home

      • If you show symptoms, seek testing immediately

      • Isolation recommendations as per Government guidelines

      • Hand hygiene practices, and access to hand sanitiser

      • System of record for all team members on site through sign-in register

      • Reduction of travel between sites

      • Social distancing

      • Access to PPE - masks, gloves, cleaning pack and hand sanitiser

      • Extra cleaning on sites

  • In our vulnerable communities in Aged Care, we have also implemented the following:

  • Mandatory influenza immunisation up to date for all team members

  • Temperature check on arrival

At AssetProjects, we've had over 20 years of experience in managing and delivering projects for our customers. Our ability to minimise disruption centres around understanding our customers' needs, and their customers.
