NSW TAFE Essential Services Upgrade

TAFE NSW Bankstown has been providing vocational education and training to Sydney’s south west for over 50 years.

Located within walking distance to the Bankstown station and town centre, TAFE NSW Bankstown has built a strong reputation for delivering community service courses and pre-vocational education and training to the area's ethnically and socially diverse population.

Bankstown Campus has state-of-the-art facilities including five hairdressing and beauty salons, an onsite childcare centre and child studies facility and simulated business offices for practical training.

Essential services upgrades were delivered by AssetProjects to TAFE NSW Bankstown. As these services were throughout common areas,  the aesthetic appeal was also imperative, as well as the expected attention to detail and compliance adherence. The project included compliance with fire protection services, as well as electrical and mechanical services.

During the project, vast areas had demolition and removal of existing services in ceilings as well as insulation removal and replacement. New LED lights were installed with data cabling and cable trays, improving environmental impacts as well as the capabilities for data connectivity for TAFE staff and students.

All works were then finished with high quality painting services and testing and commissioning, all with minimal disruption to students and staff. The result is beautiful featured lighting in common areas throughout TAFE NSW Bankstown.
